Finnish B1 – Improve your skills, prepare for the YKI

Finnish Language Course B1 is designed for those who already master the basics (A2 level) and want to build confidence in speaking, understanding, and writing Finnish in more complex situations.

📅 Course dates: 23 September – 4 November 2025
🕕 Schedule: Tuesdays, 18:00–19:00 (online via Zoom)
⏳ Duration: 7 weeks, 6 hours of teaching (no class on 14 October, self-study that week)
💶 Price: 90 € (includes materials and exercises)

What you will learn

• Expanding vocabulary – work, studies, leisure, culture, and current topics

• Intermediate grammar – object forms, passive voice, and verb types

• Speaking practice – discussions, expressing opinions, and everyday problem-solving

• Listening comprehension – understanding longer dialogues and short texts

• Reading skills – news, announcements, and everyday texts

• Writing practice – short messages, emails, and descriptions

• Cultural context – Finnish customs, lifestyle, and everyday life situations
